Dr Qureshi and his team are amazing. I as a mother searched everywhere for the best orthodontist for my 8 year old son, who has now started his aligner treatment. It has been around 7 months now and all I can say, it’s the best decision we made. Dr Qureshi is truly amazing in his speciality , his expertise , knowledge and attention to detail is the reason as to why I chose himself. The whole team is amazing, nothing is ever a problem. Helen , Ramona , Gergana are superb. Nothing but high standards. I would recommend anyone who is seeking any kind of orthodontic treatment to contact the team. Thank you team. We are looking forward to the end result!

What happens at a Smile at 7 consultation?

Your visit is relaxed and low-pressure. We’ll gently assess how your child’s teeth and jaw are developing, using digital scans and X-rays to look for early signs of crowding or bite problems.

If treatment is needed, we’ll recommend simple, age-appropriate solutions. These might include expanders, twin blocks or just regular monitoring. If not, we’ll simply keep an eye on things with check-ins as they grow.

When should kids come and see an Orthodontist?

As soon as you think there is an orthodontic problem you should see your orthodontist. We recommend an orthodontic assessment from around age 7–8, when your child’s teeth and jaws are still developing. This allows us to identify any early concerns and guide their growth appropriately. Dolls and Toys are most welcome to their appointments in the clinic.

Many orthodontic problems can be prevented by early treatment but too often we see children too late, once the problem is established and harder to manage.

Managing orthodontic problems is easier whilst a child is actively growing. A few examples include cross bite , jaw issues or protrusive bites.

So if as a parent you are concerned ask your dentist to refer or you can self refer to see us. We will always give you full options for treatment which may include doing nothing till your teenage years however we find around 20% of the young kids we see will benefit from some form of early or interceptive treatment.

Nowadays young kids can be treated with clear aligners too, which is a comfortable and fun way for kids to start their orthodontic journey.
